Latin students at KCD participate in two major events each year: The National Latin Exam and the State Festival. Following are their 2003-2004 results

Sponsored by the Kentucky Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
The State Festival is held every year in May at the University of Kentucky. Students from all over the state come to Lexington and compete in numerous events.
KCD's Middle School Latin students took 1st place in the State and the Upper School placed 4th.
