SAVE THE CHILDREN's Advocacy Day 2009!
Stitch for a Cause continued our work on the Knit One, Save One campaign by taking the next step and advocating for newborns lives where it matters...in Washington, DC!
Four students and two teachers attended Advocacy Day activities on April 21st and 22nd, 2009 in Washington, DC. We met with legislators and spread the word about what knitters and crocheters around the country have done and the need for continued funding of low-cost interventions to save newborn lives.
