There are MANY ways you can help.

Make something.

If you are a crafter, one way to help is to make something. We are currently accepting NEW, HANDMADE blankets, quilts, and infant apparel. Items can be knit, crocheted, quilted, sewn, etc.

Blankets and quilts can be any size from receiving blanket-sized to twin-sized, since some of the agencies we provide to service children from infancy through teenage years.

Preemie hats are especially useful. We donate many hats each year to local neonatal intensive care units.

We also accept blankets for pets! We have donated several handmade pet beds and blankets to local animal shelters. A blanket that is 24 x 24 inches or smaller will fit the cages that are used for cats and puppies.

If you don't have much time, we will gladly accept donations of 8 by 8 inch knit or crocheted squares. The knit and crocheted squares will be joined to make blankets. All donations can be mailed to the school at our mailing address (see Contact Us page).

Donate materials.

We constantly need supplies. Donations of yarn, fabric, batting, embroidery floss and thread, buttons, knitting needles, crochet hooks, easy patterns, or other crafting supplies would be greatly appreciated. These items can be brought to the school or can also be mailed through our mailing address (see Contact Us page).

Monetary donations are also accepted. These funds will be used to purchase supplies that are not otherwise donated. Your gift is tax-deductible and a receipt can be provided through the school's development office if specified. Make checks payable to KCD.
